Howdy Everyone!
Yesterday was our 21st wedding anniversary. Craig put our wedding video on the TV while we were eating breakfast and Amanda watched with great interest. Then she went off to Vacation Bible School, where she told everyone "It's my Mom and Dad's Anniversary". When asked how long we had been married, she apparently said "100 years!" Sometimes it feels that way :)
Today Craig had dialysis (it had been 7 days since last one). They took off between 8 and 9 pounds of extra fluid. Isn't that just crazy? Again, for you number people, his creatinine is 2.8 and BUN 92. He'll probably be pretty wiped out tonight after that aggressive dialysis treatment today. Right now he is sitting on the deck with Sparky dog enjoying being unplugged from the machine.
Talked to my folks today. Many of you may have heard about the nutty weather in Milwaukee yesterday ... 5 to 7 inches of rain in a 2 to 3 hour window, and a sinkhole that swallowed up a Cadillac. Yikes! In Edmonds it is a delightful 75 and sunny.
All for now, love, Sharon
Hey Craigers,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that the dialysis days are getting further apart. That seems like progress, don't you think? Anxiously await every day to hear an update on your progress. We think about you every single day. Any chance you might want to meet us in Hawaii this March for Hawaii Derm? We are planning on making the trip. It happens to be our kids' spring break, so it's a "no-brainer".
Love ya lots. The Longs
Happy Anniversary Birkbees. A great milestone.
