Hello everyone,
Happy Father's Day! Craig says this is a Father's Day that he will definitely remember.
The creatinine, which is a measure of kidney function, is a bit worse today (3.6). We hope it will turn around soon.
Craig had some chest discomfort this am and chest x-ray showed a little fluid around the lungs. Fortunately no sign of heart attack or clot in the lungs. Too little fluid in the veins and too much fluid in the tissues due to the low protein in his blood. He continues to receive IV protein (albumin) to try to correct this.
He will be in the hospital until the kidney function shows signs of improving.
Had very nice visits from Pastor Paul Mitchell, Howard and Claudia Carr from church, and friend Carl Imhoff.
Visits are good as long as they are relatively brief.
Craig's Father's Day presents centered around his new interest in Wilson Bentley and his study of snowflakes. There is a sweet children's book about this man called "Snowflake Bentley" that we highly recommend.
Looking forward to Monday and having all the doctors on board with all cylinders firing.
Love, Sharon
